e believe in a very comprehensive first exam visit. Plan to spend one to
one and a half hours at our office.
First we'll help you fill out the necessary forms
about your past dental health care and dental experiences. After that, you and the doctor will have a chance to review all the
information together and discuss how we will help you.
After the interview, we will do a through
examination, which will include a head and neck exam for serious oral diseases as well as
oral health conditions that could lead, if otherwise unchecked, to bone loss or bite
disymmetry or other-long term negative effects. Of course, this oral exam includes a
complete analysis of the present condition of your teeth. A smile analysis will be offered
as well.
Only the X-rays that are necessary will be taken, and
then, only after the exam. Depending on your needs, we will begin discussions about
treatment at your first visit, or, if more time is needed for study, at the second visit.
